Which banks and currencies can I send money to via Instant Payment Plus?
Using the Instant Payment Plus remittance you can make payments in euros sent to the following banks within Greece:
National Bank of Greece, Alpha Bank, Eurobank, Optima Bank, Attica Bank, Pancreta Bank, Cooperative Bank of Epirus, Cooperative Bank of Thessaly, Cooperative Bank of Chania, Viva Payments Services
The funds transfer is executed and credited to the beneficiary's account within 10 seconds. If the transaction cannot be successfully completed, the money will be refunded to your account within 10 seconds.
How much money can I send via Instant Payment Plus?
You can send up to €100,000 per transaction via Piraeus e-banking and the branch network.
How do I send a remittance via Instant Payment Plus?
If you wish to send money through Instant Payment Plus, your remittance has to be sent with Instant Payment Plus priority and to meet the necessary prerequisites (beneficiary bank, amount sent, use of IBAN).
The Instant Payment Plus remittance is available:
- for orders via Piraeus e-banking: regardless of day and time (24/7, all days of the year)
- for branch orders: as long as the entry of the transfer takes place Monday - Friday until 2.00 p.m.
