Piraeus Payments Alerts

What are they

The Piraeus Payments Alerts notify you of any post-dated or future payments made following an order you have issued:

  • Each time a payment order is completed

  • One working day before the payment order is performed

      • As a reminder

      • As a notification when your balance is not enough to cover the payment

      • As a notification when the payment amount is over the safety limit you have set

  • If the payment order fails because there was not enough available balance

The Piraeus Payments Alerts are connected to the payment order and not the payment method through an account or a credit card.

How to set them

 1.  Specify the payment order you want to monitor.

 2.  Choose in which cases you want to receive alerts:

    • Notification that the payment was successful

    • Reminder before the payment is made

    • Notification before the payment is made when your balance is not enough to cover the payment

    • Notification before the payment is made when the payment amount is over the safety limit you have set

    • Notification that the payment was not successful

 3.  Specify the reference amounts (e.g. safety limit), provided they are required for the alerts you have selected.

 4.  Specify the period for which you want to receive alerts:

    • From when and up until when you want to receive alerts

    • What times of the day you want to receive alerts (silent times)

You can activate or deactivate the Piraeus Scheduled Payments Alerts at any time.
