The Prepaid Visa KEA is issued on the order of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Social Solidarity for the crediting of the "Social Solidarity Income" benefit to its beneficiaries. You can use it to carry out transactions in physical and online shops, as well as for telephone orders at any business bearing the Visa brand in Greece and abroad, until the available balance is exhausted.

How do I get my Prepaid Visa KEA?
The Prepaid Visa KEA card is issued in the name of the beneficiaries on the order of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
- The card is sent by post, deactivated, to the address indicated by the beneficiary when applying for membership of the KEA program, accompanied by a letter with instructions on how to activate it.
- The card can be activated through the bank's ATM or via Piraeus e-banking, Piraeus app or by phone at +30 210 3288000 from Greece or abroad.
- The Personal Identification Number (PIN) of the card is sent to the same address by registered mail.
Can I hold more than one Prepaid Visa KEA?
- Each beneficiary of the "Social Solidarity Income" benefit may have only one (1) special purpose prepaid card at the bank of his/her choice. Once he/she has chosen Piraeus Bank for the crediting of the specific benefit, he/she can only hold one (1) Prepaid Visa KEA.
Does it have a subscription?
- No subscription. You can get it and reissue it for free.
Where can I use my Prepaid Visa KEA?
The Prepaid Visa KEA can be used for transactions in physical and online stores and for telephone orders in any business that bears the Visa brand in Greece and abroad, until the exhaustion of the available balance, while according to the specifications set by the Ministry, it is not possible to unload the available balance in a deposit account and withdraw cash through ATMs.
It is a reloadable prepaid card and features Contactless Chip & PIN plastic technology with contactless transactions and is loaded with the amount of benefit to which the holder is entitled upon instruction from the ministry.
How does Prepaid Visa KEA function?
- The transactions you make are paid directly from its available balance. If the available balance is insufficient, the transaction is not executed.
How can I manage my card?
The management of your card, i.e. loading, monitoring of movements, PIN setting/changing, temporary interruption and activation of the card is easy, at any time of the day, from wherever you are:
- online via Piraeus e-banking orfrom your mobile phone with the Piraeus app
- via Piraeus phone banking, except PIN set/change
- by phone at 210 3288000 for card activation, detailed card details, card transactions, PIN set/change
- via ATM for card activation, detailed data, card transactions, card loading via debit card
How can I collect expenses through electronic means of payments?
- You can collect expenses by using Piraeus Bank credit, debit and prepaid cards as well as by making electronic payments through Piraeus e-banking, Piraeus app and Piraeus phone banking.
