Transaction split into installments is a new way of repayment that allows you to make purchases with your credit card and pay later in up to 12 interest-free installments. The service is offered for the payment of purchases and services worth more than €30 that you have made within the last 30 days.

I am not registered with Piraeus e-banking. What should I do?
Your registration at Piraeus e-banking can be now fulfilled online, easily, with no more than 3 steps. Just click here and follow the instructions.
You will need:- your PIN
- your debit card number
to have with you the mobile phone you have registered with the bank
If you are not a customer of the bank, you can complete your registration to Piraeus e-banking online via the service Digital onboarding. The online registration is free of charge. Alternatively, you can register at a branch, with a fee such as defined in the Bank's Purchasing Invoice.
For which cards is the service offered?
- For all the credit cards for private individuals of Piraeus Bank and the business credit card Piraeus Business Credit.
I made a one-off transaction today. Can I convert it into installments?
- Yes. The conversion can take place in both a cleared and an authorized transaction.
I do not see the transaction that I want to convert into installments, even though it meets all the conversion requirements. Why?
You will need to use the filters by selecting the credit card with which the transaction was made and then selecting the type of transaction. The available transactions are divided into:
- "Current Transactions" (charged to the card and not yet shown on the copy of the monthly statement)
- "Authorizations" (approved but not cleared)
- "Last Statement Transactions" (shown on the copy of the last monthly bill of the card)
When is the conversion completed?
- Your request will be completed within the next business day, with the value date being the date of the conversion request, if it is a cleared transaction. If the transaction has not cleared when you make the request, it will be completed within the next business day from the day it clears.
Is it possible later to cancel the conversion or change the number of installments?
- No, there is no possibility.
Is there a charge for using the service?
The charge per installment is €0,30 except in the following cases which are offered free of charge:
- fuel purchases for amounts greater than or equal to €300
- payments that have been settled in a lump sum via the Piraeus e-banking, for:
- Natural gas bills
- Outstanding public debt
- Vehicle Taxes
- Special Fee for arbitrary buildings control, Single special arbitrary buildings fee
The commission is charged in full (X installments * €0,30 when the 1st installment is charged and is clearly shown on the copy of your monthly card bill. In any case, before you complete the conversion request, you will be informed of the conversion fee.
In which case do I incur interest?
- If the monthly debit balance from the use of the card, as it appears in the monthly statement, is not paid in full and on time, it will be charged in full with interest according to the terms of the credit card provision agreement.
Is the payment amount on my card by standing order converted into installments?
- Yes, the service is also offered for standing orders.
Is the cash withdrawal from my credit card converted into installments?
- No, you cannot convert the amount of the cash withdrawal into installments.
Are my utility or insurance bill payments via my credit card converted into installments?
- Yes, they are converted.
Can the transactions I have made with an additional credit card be converted into installments?
- Yes. Transactions made with an additional credit card can be converted into installments by both the main cardholder and the addon cardholder. Please note that the addon cardholder cannot submit a conversion request for a transaction made with the primary card.
Are the amounts of the installments equal to each other?
- As is the case when you select installments directly at the merchant, the last instalment may differ slightly from the others due to rounding. There is no extra charge, if you add up all the instalment amounts, the result is exactly equal to the amount of the one-off transaction.
