I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

Make foreign currency exchange transactions with competitive pricing. You can convert incoming remittances into euros or buy foreign currency for any reason, such as travel, study abroad, etc. Transactions are made in 19 currencies against the euro or between them.

How do I get foreign currency or foreign banknotes?

Currency and banknotes can be purchased at the bank's branches directly. If large amounts of foreign banknotes are involved, they are purchased on request.

  • Up to the equivalent of €15,000: The conversion is based on Foreign Currency & Banknotes Bulletin issued daily by the bank
  • Higher than the equivalent of €15,000: Currency conversion is done at a special rate, according to current market rates

How to convert currency via Piraeus e-banking?

In order to convert:

  • Use the "Currency Conversion" service online through Piraeus e-banking.
  • From your home screen, select "Transfer Between My Accounts".
  • Then you choose the accounts you want to credit or debit between the euro and nine major currencies*.

The transaction is executed immediately and can be executed for amounts up to €15,000 per transaction and up to €50,000 cumulatively per business day. The conversion rate is taken from the current Exchange Rate Bulletin without any further charge.

* Accepted foreign currencies for Euro transactions are USD, CHF, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, NOK, DKK, SEK, CAD, NOK, DKK, SEK.
