The Greek State has created the website gov.gr through which you can issue a Solemn Declaration and Authorization services. As a customer of Piraeus Bank you can access the service with your Piraeus e-banking credentials without having to visit a Citizens' Service Centre (ΚΕΠ) or a police station to verify the authenticity of your signature.

Can I identify myself through gov.gr using my Piraeus e-banking credentials?
Yes, you can. The process you need to follow to identify yourself through gov.gr is simple and quick. Follow the steps below.
- When the citizen is requested to be identified, you choose to do so using your Piraeus e-banking credentials.
- You are transferred to the secure environment of Piraeus e-banking, where you enter the username and password you use to log in to Piraeus e-banking, as well as the extraPIN code you will receive via SMS or Viber.
- At this point, you will be notified about the transfer of your data to gov.gr. The data that will be transferred are: full name, VAT number and the mobile phone you have registered with the bank for receiving extraPIN codes. The transmission of these data is done for the purpose of cross-checking them with the data available on gov.gr and is completely secure.
- You have completed the identification process and you can proceed with the service you need.
