Now, you have the opportunity to register as a new customer to our digital services, with a simple and short procedure. As a Piraeus e-banking user, you will be able to access your accounts, manage your finances and carry out your transactions easily and quickly, wherever you are.
Online registration to Piraeus e-banking
Your online registration to the service is free of charge. To complete the process, you must have an active debit card, remember its PIN and have the mobile phone number you have registered with the bank.
Alternatively, you can register for Piraeus e-banking from any Piraeus Bank branch. In this case, a charge will be applied according to the current commission tariff.
Your online registration can be done via the Piraeus e-banking and the Piraeus app. See below the steps for each option.
A. Registration via Piraeus e-banking
1. Visit the page www.ebanking.piraeusbank.gr page select to log in as "Individual". You will automatically be taken to the home page.
2. Select "Online registration".
3. On the next screen, select the type of your debit card, fill in the required digits and the mobile phone number you have registered with Piraeus Bank. Then press "Next".
4. Enter the username you want to use to log in and your e-mail address.
Do not use usernames that are easily predictable such as names, dates, phone numbers and mobile phone numbers that you have registered with Piraeus Bank.
Note: The username must be 6-50 characters long and contain at least one letter and one number. It is not allowed to use a string of identical characters. For example, usernames b2222222222, 77777777g are not acceptable. The use of characters with a logical continuation is not allowed. For example usernames 123456, 654321a, abcdef, fedcba, wer1234 are not acceptable.
5. Accept the agreement for access to Piraeus e-banking. Then click "Next".
6. You will receive the extraPIN code on your mobile phone. Enter the extraPIN code in the corresponding field.
7. Fill in the two corresponding digits of your debit card PIN in the empty fields and select "Continue". You will immediately receive an SMS with the temporary password (valid for 72 hours) to complete your login.
8. Visit the page Piraeus e-banking login page, www.ebanking.piraeusbank.gr, and use your username & temporary password to log in.
You have completed your Piraeus e-banking registration.
B. Via the Piraeus app
1. Download the Piraeus app from the App Store (iOS) or App Gallery (Huawei) or Google Play Store (Android) type Piraeus app and tap Get (iOS) or Install (Huawei) or Install (Android).
2. Open the app, select "Register" and then "Register online". On this screen you will need to read the terms of use of the service and accept them to continue.
3. Select your debit card type and enter the digits requested. Then enter the mobile number you have registered with Piraeus Bank and click "Next".
4. Enter the username you will use to log in to Piraeus e-banking and the e-mail address to which you wish to receive the registration agreement.
5. Fill in the corresponding field the extraPIN code you received on the mobile phone you have registered with the bank.
6. Fill in the two corresponding digits of your debit card PIN in the empty fields. You will immediately receive an SMS with the temporary password (valid for 72 hours) to complete your login.
Your registration in the Piraeus app is complete.
First login to the application
- At the first login, enter your username & password. If you are logging into Piraeus banking for the first time, you will be asked to change your password and set a new one.
- Then choose how you want to log in to the app, with facial recognition, fingerprint or a 4-digit quick login PIN. The 4-digit quick login PIN is set by you and is not related to your card PIN or extraPIN.
- You have the option to activate the app's push notifications so that the extraPIN code is automatically downloaded and entered when required for your transactions and then easily completed with facial recognition, fingerprint or 4-digit PIN.
