Which countries and currencies can I send money to via Instant Payments Plus?
- Using the Instant Payments Plus service you can make your transactions in euros with banks within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). The funds transfer is executed and credited to the beneficiary's account within 10 seconds. If the transaction cannot be successfully completed, the money will be refunded to your account within 10 seconds.
How much money can I send via Instant Payments Plus?
You can send:
Up to €100,000 per transaction:- in Greece and abroad through the branch network
- in Greece via Piraeus e-banking
Up to €50,000 per transaction:
- abroad via Piraeus e-banking
How do I send a remittance via Instant Payments Plus?
If you wish to send money through Instant Payments Plus, your remittance has to be sent with Instant Payment priority and to meet the necessary prerequisites (beneficiary bank, amount sent, use of IBAN).
The Ιnstant Payment Plus priority is available:- for orders via Piraeus e-banking: regardless of day and time (24/7, all days of the year)
- for branch orders: as long as the entry of the transfer takes place Monday - Friday until 2.00 p.m.

- The service involves banks that are present in Greece and in countries within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
