The options for allocating the capital to time deposit and mutual funds are:

The Piraeus Megas time deposit pays interest at maturity.

Should you need the money deposited before the maturity date, you have the option of an early withdrawal of the total deposit amount. In that case, an early withdrawal penalty applies, calculated as follows:

2% x Withdrawn Capital x days remaining to maturity / 360 (days)

Early withdrawal penalty cannot exceed the total accrued credit interest of the time deposit.

Note: The early withdrawal option is offered through the branch network and is based on current Legislative Framework.

The time deposit has a preferential , fixed rate throughout its term.
The interest rate depends on the allocation chosen, the term of the time deposit, the mutual funds asset class and it is paid at maturity.
