How do I install the Piraeus app?

Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

How do I get a Piraeus e-loan?

Contactless transactions

Contactless transactions are a quick and secure way to make your purchases.

Contactless transactions are based on short-range NFC (Near Field Communication) wireless technology and enable the customer to make purchases by simply bringing the card to the POS machine.

The limit for contactless transactions with Piraeus Bank cards, without the use of PINs, is permanently maintained at 50 euros.

You will need to enter your PIN:

  • for purchases over 50 euros
  • on your first transaction after reaching the amount of €150 in consecutive contactless transactions without a PIN, based on the European Directive PSD2

Insurance coupons

Everyday banking

Insurance Coupons are mandatory so as to pay people you employ on a regular or casual basis for private work or services. Employees may include domestic cleaners, private tutors, childcares, caregivers, gardeners and landscapers etc. The Insurance Coupons are issued online via the Piraeus e-banking  and can be cashed by employees at any Piraeus Bank branch. Any relevant social insurance contributions (25% for IKA and 10% for OGA) are withheld from the amount payable written on the Insurance Coupons. The withheld amount is then paid to the corresponding social insurance fund.
