How do I install the Piraeus app?

Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

How do I get a Piraeus e-loan?

Procedure for adding a co-beneficiary online

Add a co-beneficiary to your account without visiting a Piraeus Bank branch.

Start of the procedure - Any existing account holder

1. Find the service through Piraeus e-banking:

  • Piraeus web banking select Deposits > Accounts > My accounts > Related services > Add a co-beneficiary > I want to add a co-beneficiary to my account
  • Piraeus app select Services > Add a co-beneficiary > Issue code/application > Issue Password

2.Select account for issuing a "Unique password"

3. The new beneficiary will receive via e-mail / SMS the "Unique password"

 

Creating an application - New beneficiary

1. Find the service through Piraeus e-banking:

  • Piraeus web banking select Deposits > Accounts > My accounts > Related services > Add a co-beneficiary > I want to become a beneficiary on a third-party account
  • Piraeus app select Services > Add a co-beneficiary > Issue code/application > Add application

2. Create a request to be added as a co-beneficiary using the "Unique password"

 

Acceptance or rejection of application - All existing beneficiaries

1. Find the service through Piraeus e-banking:

  • Piraeus web banking select Deposits > Accounts > My accounts > Related services > Add a co-beneficiary > History
  • Piraeus app select Services > Add a co-beneficiary > Requests history

2. On acceptance of the application by all existing beneficiaries, the procedure is completed and the new beneficiary is automatically included in the account.

 

Notice

  • At each step, relevant information is sent via e-mail / SMS to all parties involved.
  • All users must have Piraeus e-banking.
  • Each client can be informed about all requests for the adding a co-beneficiary via Piraeus e-banking:
    • Piraeus web banking select Deposits > Accounts > My accounts > Related services > Add a co-beneficiary > History
    • Piraeus app select Services > Add a co-beneficiary > Requests history

 

Useful notes

  • The functionality is only available to Natural Persons.
  • Eligible accounts are those for which no special conditions apply (e.g. existence of a minor, lien, etc.), while all beneficiaries are Piraeus e-banking users.
  • To secure the process, every action of the parties involved is completed with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).
  • It is possible to add only one new beneficiary per request. The addition of two or more new beneficiaries is done sequentially with a new request as soon as the previous one is completed (positive or negative).
  • The "Unique Password" is valid for seven calendar days, within which the whole process (creation of the application, acceptance by beneficiaries) must be completed.
