ERGO My Business Liability Medical Insurance covers you for bodily injury or death caused to third parties/patients by your acts or omissions in the legitimate exercise of your duties within the scope of your specialty.

Covered: gynecologists and obstetricians, surgeons of all specialties and anesthesiologists, radiologists, ophthalmologists, gastroenterologists, dentists, dermatologists, otolaryngologists, general practitioners

Not covered: physiotherapists, plastic surgeons, radiotherapists and radiologists, aestheticians and dieticians, residents and rural doctors, veterinarians

ERGO My Business Liability Medical Insurance is offered with the following package and the indemnity is determined according to the general and specific terms of your contract. 

Examples of premiums

1. Legal exercise of profession

• ERGO My Business Liability Medical Insurance covers you only if you hold the degrees, diplomas and licenses required by Greek legislation for the legal exercise of your profession.
• If you have included additional members in your insurance, My Business Liability Physician insurance covers you for these members only if they have the necessary scientific qualifications to provide the services, have been declared at the conclusion of the contract and are listed in the insurance policy.

2. Clean record

• ERGO My Business Liability Physician insurance covers you only if there is no case pending against you for a tort committed in the course of your profession, and you have not been linked to similar accidents or losses in the past.
• All claims arising from the same loss event are considered one event. To be satisfied, your policy's per occurrence liability limit applies only once.
