Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

What is the EMEp? Where can I find more information?

The National Communication Register (NRC) is the information management system of the central database for unique registration of the contact details of all individuals. Is there a fee for the Digital Onboarding service?

No, the Digital Onboarding service is provided free of charge, and there is no fee during the serve.

How do I install the Piraeus app?

You can download the Piraeus Business app on your mobile from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or depending on your device.

What deposit account can I get?

You can obtain a current account.

Can I issue any debit card through the app?

Your issued debit card will be a business Visa Debit.

How will I receive my card?

The issued debit card will be sent to the contact address you provided during the process. If you want the card to be sent to a different address, you will need to update your details in the National Communication Register. The PIN will be sent to the same address in a separate sealed envelope.

When can I use the service?

  • Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m – 20:30 p.m
  • Saturday 10:00 a.m – 15:30 p.m

What do I need to become a customer through Digital Onboarding as a Small Business or Professional?

  • Greek Identification Card
  • Taxisnet credentials
  • Updated contact details in the National Communication Register (notify.gov.gr)
  • You should have already registered the business details according to the business commencement certificate.
  • You should have the printed form "Commencement of Business Activity”.

What happens if my registration process is interrupted?

If the process is interrupted at any point, you can restart the process within 12 hours. Your progress is saved, and you pick up where you left off. After 12 hours, you can start the process again, but from the beginning.

Why can't I continue after e-Gov authentication?

Possible reasons that may prevent you from continuing are:

  • you are underage
  • you have a residential address outside Greece
  • indications appear that you are not taxed exclusively in Greece
  • you are already a Piraeus Bank customer
  • your e-Gov details are invalid or incomplete

I enter the one-time password (OTP) and it is not accepted. Why might this be?

The maximum "lifespan" of the one-time password, which is 2 minutes, has expired. In this case, you need to press the resend button to continue.

In case I encounter a problem during the process, who should I contact?

For any problems, questions, or clarifications, you can contact Piraeus Bank's customer service at +30 21 0328 8000.

What happens if during the video call with the bank representative, the call is interrupted by a random factor?

In this case, you will need to restart the process.

Is the service available for people with disabilities?

The Digital Onboarding service is available for individuals with hearing impairments, as the Piraeus Bank representative in the video call is trained in sign language.

Why is the video call step mandatory?

To start a business relationship with Piraeus Bank and open an account on a mobile device, a video call is necessary according to the relevant regulatory guidelines for remote electronic identification.

Can I help a familiar person with the video call?

In case two individuals appear during the video call (e.g., grandchild/grandparent or child/parent), and if it is not clear that the identified person has legal capacity (e.g., sound mind, communication difficulties, reduced perception), then the identification process cannot proceed. If the second person is present only as an assistant and does not interfere with the responses of the identified person, the identification process continues as usual.
