How do I install the Piraeus app?

Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

Duration

6 - 120 months, depending on the amount of the loan and the type of interest rate. Specifically:

For a fixed interest rate:

  • from 6 to 60 months for amounts up to 6.000€
  • from 6 to 96 months for amounts from 6.001€ to 40.000€

For floating rate:

  • from 6 to 60 months for amounts up to 6,000
  • from 6 to 120 months for amounts from €6,001 to €40,000

Note:
The age of the borrower at the end of the loan cannot exceed 70 years.

The interest rate of the Once and for All plan is personalised and you can choose either fixed or variable.

The interest rate of the Once and for All loan is personalized and is adjusted according to:

  • Your needs
  • Your financial abilities
  • Your financial resources
  • Your credit history with any bank

The interest rates are subject to the Law 128/75 levy, currently 0.60%.

A. (Overall APR): 12.24% for €10,000, a total term of 72 months, €200 fees, current variable rate, which is the sum of the Base Consumer Loan Rate (BCR), currently at 11.10%, plus a spread of (- 0,10%), readjusted based on the fluctuations of the Euribor 1M rate. This readjustment may also differ by + 0.5% in addition to the fluctuations. Interest rates are also subject to the Law 128/1975 levy. Today it stands at 0.6%.

B. (Overall APR): 13.08% for €10,000, a total term of 72 months, €200 fees and current fixed rate at 11.75%, plus the Law 128/1975 levy. Today it stands at 0.6%.

Cost of examining the request

They are collected when the loan is disbursed from the deposit account you have chosen as your servicing account.

Repayment

In monthly installments covering:

  • Interest and capital
  • Interest only, if there is a grace period

Information about your loan installment

  • The instalments are paid automatically from your linked bank account.
  • Each instalment is paid on the same date of each calendar month.
  • The instalment is based on the amount, term and interest rate of the loan.
  • The amount of the instalment may vary, depending on the fluctuation of the lending rate when it is variable
Early repayment option

The loan can be partially or fully repaid at any time with your written request to the Bank

  • For a loan with a variable interest rate - no charge
  • For a loan with a fixed interest rate - with the prescribed charge
Optional insurance cover

Ensure smooth repayment of your loan installments and insurance cover that can last after your loan is repaid.

The Payment Protection Plan provides compensation in the following cases:

  • Dismissal and temporary disability due to accident or illness - for full-time, private sector employees with a contract
  • Hospitalization and temporary disability due to accident or illness - for freelancers, civil servants and part-time private sector employees with a contract

The Payment Protection Plan is offered on an optional basis.

Conditions

It is addressed to customers aged 18-70 years old (at the end of the loan), who keep their payroll at the bank and:

  • declare permanent residence in Greece
  • have a tax residence in Greece
Necessary documents
Valid identity card or passport
For employees

Proof of income:

  • Last year's statement of account
  • Latest payroll receipt or official pay slip from the company's accounting department (not handwritten), which should include detailed professional data - date of hiring, gross and net earnings, insurance deductions, tax

If you keep your payroll at Piraeus or are a civil servant, a payroll certificate is not required.

You should also be informed about the documents you need to provide us with if you are either not a Piraeus Bank client or if you are a client and the certification documents you have provided us with are missing or may not be valid due to being outdated.
