Card activation

Activate your card via Piraeus e-banking:

Set/change PIN card

Set/change your card PIN via Piraeus e-banking:

Piraeus e-banking

1. Select Cards > My Debit Cards/My Credit Cards/My Prepaid Cards > Set/Change PIN.
2. Select the card you want, set the new PIN and tap Continue.
3. Complete and confirm the transaction.
4. To use your card for purchases at physical stores with the new PIN, make a balance enquiry transaction at any ATM.

Piraeus app

1. From the home screen, select Cards, the card you want, and from the Card settings menu, tap Set/Change PIN.
2. Read the information on the required actions and select Continue.
3. Fill in and confirm the new PIN and then complete and confirm the transaction.

Disputing card transactions

You can dispute the transactions you have made with your card.

Piraeus e-banking

1. Select Cards > My Credit Cards/My Debit Cards/My Prepaid Cards > Dispute card transactions.
2. Tap Dispute and select the reason for the dispute and card that suits you.
3. Fill in all the necessary information and complete the request.
4. rack your request from the History tab.

Piraeus app

1. From the Services menu, select Dispute card transactions.
2. Select New request, the reason for the dispute and the card the transaction was executed on.
3. Complete the request and track it from the History tab.

Card re-issue

Re-issue your card via Piraeus e-banking:

1. Select cards > My Credit Cards/My Debit Cards/My Prepaid Cards > Card Reissue.
2. Select the Reason for Reissue, the card you want and the billing account (where required).
3. Tap Accept Terms (where required), select Continue, confirm the details and select Finish.
   

Piraeus app

1. From the home screen, select Cards, the card you want, and then Card settings > Reissue Card.
2. Confirm the details, select Next, select the reason for reissue and accept the terms (where required).
3. Confirm the details and select Re-issue.

Temporary suspension of card use/Reset card use

Temporarily suspend/restore the ability to use your card via Piraeus e-banking:

1. From the Cards menu, select your card and then select Temporary card suspension/reset card usage.
2. Select the Off/On indicator and tap Continue.
3. Select Finish and confirm the transaction.
   

Piraeus app

1. From the home screen, select Cards and the card you want to block/unblock.
2. From the Card Settings, select Temporary card block/unblock with on/off respectively and confirm the transaction.

Debit card usage management

Set up the use of your card through Piraeus e-banking:

From the Cards menu, select Debit Cards and then the card you want.
From the Related services menu > Card controls management, select the settings you want.

Piraeus app

Select the debit card you wish to use and then from the Card settings > Card controls management.

You have the ability to manage:

• ATM withdrawals
• online shopping
• contactless POS transactions
• POS purchases 
• purchases abroad

Change of debit card limit

Change the daily limit of purchases/withdrawals of your debit card via Piraeus e-banking:

1. From the menu Cards > My Debit Cards, select the debit card you wish to use.
2. From the Related Services select Change debit card limits, the debit card for which you want to change the Withdrawal Limit/Purchase Limit, the usage limit you wish to change, accept the terms and select Continue.
3. Confirm the usage limits and select Finish to confirm the transaction.

Piraeus app

1. From the menu Cards > Debit, select the debit card you want.
2. Select Settings > Edit card limits > Withdrawal limit/Purchase limit in Greece and abroad.
3. Select the amount, tap Accept, save and confirm the transaction.

Prepaid card loading

Load your prepaid card via Piraeus e-banking:

1. Select Cards > My Prepaid Cards > Prepaid Card Loading, tap "Mine" or "Third party" and then the card you want.
2. Select Bank Account/Credit Card.
3. Enter the charge/credit amount and select Continue.
4. Confirm the details and select Finish.

Piraeus app

1. From the home screen, select Cards, the card you want, and select Load.
2. Select the Bank Account/Credit Card, the amount to be charged, click Next and then complete the transaction.
