How do I install the Piraeus app?

Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

Online money transfers via Piraeus e-banking

Make your money transfers easily.

Money transfer within Piraeus Bank (to your own or a third party account)

1. Select the transaction you want

  • From the menu select "Transfers".
  • Then select"Transfer between my accounts" if you want to transfer from one account to another or "Third party transfer" if you want to transfer money to a third party account in Piraeus Bank.

2. Fill in the transaction details

  • Select your account to be charged and the account you want to be credited.
  • If it is a transfer to a third party account, fill in the beneficiary's account number by selecting "New account" or you can find the account at the aliases if you have already saved the beneficiary's account in your aliases list.
  • Fill in the amount you want to transfer and the reason.
  • Select whether you want the transfer to be executed immediately or at a predetermined date and when you want it to be repeated.
  • Select "Next".

3. Complete the transaction

  • Confirm that the transfer details are correct. If you want to change something select "Back", otherwise select "Submit".
  • You will receive an SMS with the extraPIN. Enter the code in the corresponding field and select "Next".
  • The transaction is complete. 

Note: If you have enabled notifications in the Piraeus app you will receive the extraPIN with a push notification and the transaction will be completed with the quick login from your mobile phone.

4. Save the transaction receipt
Once the transaction is complete, you can save or print the receipt by selecting the corresponding icons on your screen.

Transfer to another bank/remittance (to your own or a third party account)

1. Select the transaction you want

From the menu select Transfers > Transfer to other banks / Remittance.

2. Fill in the transaction details

  • Select your account to be charged.
  • If it is a transfer to a third party account, fill in the account number by selecting "New account" or select from the aliases, if you have already added the account of the beneficiary at your aliases list.
  • Fill in the beneficiary customer, the country of the beneficiary's bank and the bank beneficiary/BIC.
  • Select the currency and enter the amount you want to transfer. Optionally, fill in the reason for the beneficiary to recognize your payment.
  • Select who will be charged with the expenses of the remittance and confirm your contact phone number.
  • Select if you want the transfer to be executed with high or normal priority, the time of execution and whether you want it to be repeated.
  • Select "Next".

3. Complete the transaction

  • Confirm that the remittance details are correct. If you want to change something select "Back", otherwise select "Submit".
  • You will receive an SMS with the extraPIN. Enter the code in the corresponding field and select "Next".
  • The transaction is complete.
