How can I get it?
In selected branches of Piraeus Bank in Attica you can request the issue of a debit card and you receive it in a few minutes, together with your PIN and you can use it immediately for all your transactions.
Alternatively, through Piraeus e-banking or Piraeus app you can obtain a debit card without having to visit a bank branch, easily and quickly.
Prerequisites:- You must have an account at Piraeus Bank
- If you want to get it through Piraeus e-banking, you must be a registered user
- You must be a member of the Athens Bar Association

What are the issuing and re-issuing costs?
- The DSA Debit card is issued free of charge the first time.
In case of loss or theft, we will replace your card immediately, free of charge.
How to make purchases with the card?
- The debit card of the Athens Bar Association Debit facilitates your daily purchases instead of cash in businesses with the VISA brand in Greece and abroad, such as supermarkets, petrol stations, etc. You can also make purchases via the internet or place orders by phone. Your purchases are charged to your account.
The APA Debit card is not a credit card. Any purchases, payments or transfers you make with it are paid directly from the available balance of the account linked to the card. If the available balance is insufficient, the transaction is not executed.
How can I convert a transaction I made with my debit card via Piraeus e-banking & Piraeus app into installments?
- From the menu select Cards > Debit Cards > select the card you want > Convert to Installments. From the available transactions, you select the one you want to convert into installments, the number of installments, you are informed about the conversion cost, you take note of the pre-contractual information, you are informed and accept the terms and follow the confirmation and completion steps. You are then informed immediately of the outcome of your application.
How do I see my transaction history?
- You can easily check all the transactions you have made with your DSA Debit card via Piraeus e-banking in the Debit Card Transactions section. You simply specify which transactions you want to see completed or approved (purchases, withdrawals, deposits, authorisations) and at what time interval.
How can I activate my card?
Debit card activation via e-banking
- from Piraeus e-banking select: Cards > My Debit Cards and select the card to be activated
- from the Piraeus app select the debit card to be activated from the section of Cards.
You then enter your card's CVV, set the card's PIN where required and proceed to strong customer authentication (SCA) to complete the transaction.
To use the new card, follow the instructions given on the card carrier, depending on the reason for issuing the card (e.g. new card issue, re-issue, renewal).Debit card activation via ATM
- Insert your card at the ATM and follow the steps you are asked to take (ask for a balance or withdraw).
- Your card has been activated for all transactions.
Debit card activation via telephone service
Call 210 38 98 989 and follow the instructions provided by the automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
Can I be served through Piraeus phone banking?
- With the PIN of the Athens Bar Association Debit Card you can also be served by phone through the Piraeus phone banking service for payments, banking and stock exchange transactions.
Registration for Piraeus phone banking is free of charge. It is activated by phone in a short time by entering the PIN of your debit card.
