Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

You save up regularly and automatically via a standing order you set up on any other Piraeus Bank deposit account you hold. You select the terms of the standing order and you can change them according to your needs:

  • Standing order amount: From €20 to €500
  • Frequency of standing order: Every 1 or 3 months
  • Linked account: Any Piraeus Bank account you hold- Feeding account: Any Piraeus Bank account you hold

Connect BORO Savings Account with the "Pay & Save" savings service. With the "Pay & Save" service, the amounts of your daily purchases with your debit card are rounded up and saved automatically in your account.
You can enroll to the service instantly via Piraeus e-banking and Piraeus app!
Transactions
BORO Savings account does not perform any other banking transactions. However, in case you need to withdraw money from your account, you can do it directly at a Piraeus Bank branch.
Interest rate

BORO Savings account pays interest once a year. Each amount saved periodically bears interest from the date that is deposited.
Privileged interest rate annually in case that:

  • You have not missed any of your regular deposits during the year
  • You have made up to one withdrawal within the year, regardless of the amount

Basic interest rate annually, in case that:

  • You made more than one withdrawal during the year, regardless of the amount
  • You have missed one or more of your regular deposits
  • You have cancelled your standing order

Restrictions

Since it is an account dedicated to savings purposes, it has some restrictions:

  • You cannot perform day-to-day banking transactions, such as payments, money transfers, etc.
  • It cannot be linked to a debit or credit card. In case you need to make a withdrawal you have to visit a Piraeus Bank.
  • Deposits to the account can be made only via a standing order or via “Pay & Save”
  • The maximum number of BORO Savings Accounts per customer is three (3)
