I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

Financial limit

Incoming remittances: You can receive by a remittance funds with no amount restrictions from abroad and within the country.
Outgoing remittances: With a remittance via Piraeus e-banking you can send:

  • In Greece up to €150,000
  • Abroad up to €50,000

Procedure for making remittances via Piraeus e-banking

1. Log in to Piraeus web banking with your credentials.
2. From the menu select Transfers > Transfer to other banks / Remittance and fill in the fields with the system's guidance.
3. Enter the extraPIN received through SMS to your mobile phone or through the extraPIN generator provided by Piraeus Bank.
4. Validate the remittance’s details and charges, before you submit your order.
5. Submit your order. The amount of the remittance and the relevant fees are charged to your bank account.

In order to transfer money to cover your business' obligations online, you need to hold an account with Piraeus Bank and obtain access to Piraeus e-banking.

1. You should know the bank account number, name and bank of the beneficiary.
2. With the above details the bank clerk will prepare the relevant remittance application form for you.
