My Business Liability Insurance offers full protection for damages or losses to third parties when they occur on the premises of your school or training center and are caused by your acts or omissions. Third parties include students, visitors, parents and guardians.

The ERGO My Business Liability insurance is offered in 2 packages.

You can tailor the insurance plan that suits you, depending on the type of coverage and the amount of compensation you want to include: bodily injury, death, property damage, moral injury, mental anguish and additional cover.

In addition, you can add additional members to your insurance, such as employees of your school or training center.

The offer, issue and payment of your insurance policy is completed immediately and delivered to you at the Piraeus Bank branch that serves you.

ERGO My Business Tuition insurance covers you for damages and losses caused to third parties through your fault and related to the use, possession and operation of the premises and facilities of your school or training centre. Indicatively: bodily injury, death, property damage, moral damage, mental anguish.

Depending on the package you choose, the My Business Liability insurance may also cover you for additional damages or losses from unexpected events, such as:

• Damage to personal belongings of third parties that are proven to be due to your own and your employees' omissions. Mobile phones, valuables and money are excluded.
• Accidents from the use of lifts, provided the lifts are regularly maintained by a qualified person.
• Liability from the fall of illuminated signs or signs mounted on the front of your building, if you are considered responsible for the fall.
• Liability from fire, explosion and short circuit.
• Damage during maintenance or repair work on building facilities. Applicable for a work budget of up to €10,000.

The indemnities of each package are determined according to the level of cover you choose, in accordance with the general and specific terms of your policy.

ERGO My Business Tuition insurance does not cover the following cases:

• Actual liability from the provision of medical services
• Damage from crystal breakage and overflow
• Damage from failure to meet your contractual obligations
• Professional liability of yourself and additional members, as well as professional liability of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and fitness instructors
• Infections from AIDS, hepatitis and all kinds of infectious diseases
• Product liability (e.g., defective toys or toys that do not meet legal and prescribed specifications)
• Tort liability for mistreatment based on racial, religious, age or ethnic discrimination or disability, and sexual harassment or sexual assault, actual or alleged, whether or not committed by force.
• Theft of exhibits in museums and/or archaeological sites visited by students for educational purposes.

1. Precautions to prevent accidents
The insurance covers you only if you take the necessary precautions to prevent accidents or damage and comply with the laws and regulations concerning the safety of the public and your staff.

2. Firefighting and fire safety measures
The insurance only covers you if you take all legal firefighting and fire safety measures on your business premises.


3. Fire Cover

If you already have a fire insurance policy, the Third Party Liability cover against third parties from fire operates in excess of the limits and coverages of your other insurance policy. This means that it only covers you for what your other policy does not already cover.

For property damage caused by your fault to the building you are renting, the owners of the building are not considered third parties.
